Worried that moving provider will be too
complicated?
We can solve that

Feeling trapped in a world of poor service by your IT Provider?
We hear you. IT is a critical component of your business operations. Just because you’re unhappy doesn’t mean that moving on is simple.
With so many systems, subscriptions and services, it can be easy to feel like separating from your MSP is simply too hard to take on.
What may seem daunting can be overcome with clarity and that which is complex can be overcome with process. There is often far more to lose by staying put.
The Stakes
Do you know how much IT is costing you?
You may be shocked to learn that the true cost of poorly delivered IT services is commonly 5-7x the cost of your monthly invoice.
This true cost is made up of various unseen factors:
- The productivity, motivation & innovation of staff.
- Technology overspend correcting for repeat issues.
- Overinvestment in poorly scoped solutions & projects.
- Missed opportunity of leveraging ROI from technology.
The Result
Underwhelming IT service that is not only frustrating, but costly to business and holding you back.
The Sensible Solution
Whilst switching MSP (Managed Service Provider) can feel like a daunting task, it doesn’t have to be. Your level of involvement in switching MSP is directly related to the quality of the onboarding process of the incoming provider.
To make the move to Sensible painless, we provide:
- An introductory letter outlining what you need to know and what the first steps look like.
- A template letter of termination for the existing supplier, providing authorisation for us to engage directly to collect required documentation, passwords and account access.
- A template letter for 3rd party vendors, granting authorisation for us to act on your behalf.
- Staff training and/or communication as to what to expect and how to get support.
The Result
A comprehensive onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition with limited involvement required from your end.
We ensure that your involvement in making a change is minimal.

Frequently asked questions
Have more questions? We’ve got answers!
How can you ensure a smooth transition?
Through a proven process backed by experience. We don’t simply rock up and start making changes; we take all of our new clients through a robust & detailed onboarding process. Whilst lite on client involvement, it is filled with checks, audits, planning and communication with the incumbent in order to cover off the various roadblocks that can exist when moving provider.
How much downtime will we experience?
Typically none. The most invasive thing we need to achieve in most onboardings is asking users to reboot their device at some point when convenient. In some cases we may discover critical risks or problems that need immediate action, however these have nothing to do with the onboarding itself and will all be discussed with you as to what the appropriate action will be. In these situations, we are merely discovering issues that already existed that were left unaddressed by the incumbent.
What if my existing MSP isn’t cooperative?
This normally is not the case. Whilst we’re unlikely to get amazing cooperation from the incumbent, most MSPs will hand over the information we require without much fuss. In extreme examples where this is not the case, we have work arounds. Ultimately you own your data, licenses, and passwords and we can assist you in seizing control.
Will we have to upgrade all our gear?
No. Whilst some MSPs will force you to upgrade all your infrastructure to their recommendation, we take on clients as they are. We believe we should only put forward a recommendation when there is a business case to do so. We may make suggestions to improve your experience or reduce risk, but you will not be forced to do anything.
Can you give us more assurance that this will be ok?
Yes, we’d be happy to put you in touch with clients that have undergone a transition to sensible and they can tell you about their experience.
How much of my time will this take?
Commonly, onboarding will require approx. 6-8 hours of your time over various meetings in the first 3 months. The increase in activity may also bring up additional discussions relating to business improvement. This however is more akin to BAU activity that perhaps just was not happening with your old provider.
How much will this cost?
We quote all onboarding projects upfront as a fixed fee. Pricing will vary depending on size, scope & the number of locations. We’d be happy to have a discussion and talk through what this would look like for you.
