We held our Annual World Congress 2-week event in Sydney, Australia and Sensible Business Solutions were tasked to co-ordinate, procure, manage and support all of the technology for the Event. We had over 250 delegates from almost every country on earth. Tasks include re-fitting out the entire 5th floor of the Sydney Sheraton Hotel as our Operations centre with a complete computer and communications network for 80 FIFA staff including network equipment, printers multi-function devices, mobile phones and 2 new dedicated high speed internet connections and all consumables. Sensible was also responsible for the 2-day Congress at Sydney Hordern Pavilion, a gala at the Sydney Opera house, the FIFA EXCO (Executive Committee) Meetings at the NSW Premier’s offices and dedicated live internet streaming infrastructure for Press Announcements. Other sites included pop up support booths at Sydney International Airport and Key Sydney Hotels. Everything was perfect.
